Ep003 – Justin Dry (Co-CEO – Vinomofo) on the importance of building a community, deciding when to pivot and how to choose between multiple options on the table.

In episode 3 of The Startup Playbook Podcast, I interview Just Dry who is the Co-founder and Co-CEO of Vinomofo.

Vinomofo is a group buying, daily deal site for premium wine. Vinomofo recently raised $25 million in funding from Blue Sky Venture Capital and is recognised as one of the biggest success stories in the Australian startup scene.

Although Vinomofo is viewed as a big success now, Justin and his Co-founder Andre Eikmeier went through plenty of struggles, pivoting 4 times over 4 years before finding the right business model.

In this interview, Justin shares the story behind Vinomofo and how they got through their “lean years”, the importance of building a community, deciding when to pivot and how to choose between multiple options on the table.
