My guest for Episode 115 of The Startup Playbook Podcast is Sam Wood, the Founder of fitness app “28 by Sam Wood”

Sam shot to fame as the star of season 3 of “The Bachelor Australia” tv series in 2015, but prior to this he had a successful 20+ year career as a fitness entrepreneur.

He started Australia’s first children’s fitness centre, Gecko kids, with operations across Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

Now alongside his gym, the Woodshed, he is the founder of fitness app 28 by Sam Wood.

The business originally launched as a desktop version in 2016 before relaunching in 2018 as an iOS and Android app and since then has gone on to become Australia’s #1 at home fitness app with over 350,000 customers around the world.
